This custom baker’s island was designed for ultimate efficiency.  While standing in one place, the cook can reach the mixer, bowls, ingredients, spices and measures.    The mixer tucks away for storage. The spice rack is wide enough for jars of preserves.

The top drawer is partitioned to house three sets of measuring spoons, two sets of cups, scoops, rolling pin and pastry cloths.  The middle drawer holds 10 lbs of sugar and the wet measure, while the bottom drawer holds four separate flour bins, 5 lbs in each bin.
